You guys posted a lot of good artwork. However I can only pick 3 of you. So lets announce the top 3 winners for the mothers day contest.

Tip: I do not judge by talent. Effort and creativity only.


The person in 3rd place will go to

I love the first drawing with Kushina and Naruto together at the swing set. It also shows an example of how things were to change from these two characters if they weren't involved with the nine tailed fox.

The second one she drew was Ichigo from the present, and Masaki from the past.

I find it amusing because Ichigo has this awkward feeling that his mom can from the past as his mom hugs him and pretends that nothing really happened.

So uczennica06, you get the mini prize that gives you 50 points, and since you had a drawing that involves a son/daughter, you get another 50. Now you have 100 points.

Moving on to the person in 2nd place. Is

You actually surprised me with your first drawing with Shagotte and Carla fairy tail. You pulled it off very well and i love how you had Shagotte hugging Carla. It shows a lot of love from the parent.

The second drawing that you did is two other Fairy tail characters Layla and Lucy Heartfilia.

I love the fact that they just spend quality time together as mother and daughter and just read a book.

The third drawing you did was another Fairy tail character, Bisca Connell.

We cant forget her since she is not only a member of the Fairy tail guild, but also mother for her daughter Asuka.

You get the regular prize, which gives you 100 points. Also since you have a drawing that has the mother along with their son/daughter, you get 150 points.

You surprised me very well with two of your drawings.

The first one from Fairy tail had a drawing that involved Ur, Gray, Leon, and Ultear.

Ur is a person why I would call her a great mother because she did everything she can to protect these 3.

She risked her life for her students, and used the iced shell to defeat Deliora. She also had her concerns for her daughter Ultear and did everything she could to take care of her.

Even though she melts into the ocean, its like she's still watching these three from heaven and earth.

The second one is Karura and Gaara from Naruto shippuden.

In the 4th great ninja war Gaara finds out that his mother truly loved him. I find this the most sentimental moment that has ever happened to Gaara as the sand takes for and takes the shape of his mother. Its like she was there the whole time protecting him from harms way.

You win the grand prize that gives you 250 points and the spot as the new Co-founder. However you had the drawing that involves the mother along with their son/daughter, so you not only get the spot as the Co-founder but you get 300 points.

As for everyone else I loved every single one of your drawings. Thank you very much for participating in the contest and paying this tribute for all types of mothers and soon to be mothers in the future. It not only means a lot to me but also to other people who dedicate their lives as a mother.

I will leave the mothers day contest folder up for one more day, and then put it in the folders they belong to.
